Hello.
I reciently purchased a Air Cycle 460 hovercraft. I am finding it a bit hard to locate any information about it at all and was wondering if any of your members would have any sugestions as to where to look.

Michael,
Does your machine resemble the machine in the picture? I know where this one is! I Do not know of anyone else who owns one, other than this one. I have done a bit of research for you and this is what I came up with. I have know about the Air Cycle for many years and try to document what I can. Not certain about the type No. "AIR CYCLE 410" but AFAIK they Used the JLO L600 opposed twin 2 stroke, and a lethal 3 blade aluminum fan.

THE AIR CAT. A two-seat, fiber-glass hovercraft, it skims along on its own cushion of air with the aid of a 30-h.p. engine that can make 31 m.p.h. over a cruising range of 50 miles on 2.5 gals, of gas. Developed by Cushionflight Corp. of San Bernardino, Calif., for sports use on lakes, rivers and marshes and over snow and ice, the Air Cat will go on the market this fall at a price of about $1,900. _________________ CEO, Hovercraft Alaska |
