| hi im making my own hovercraft from scratch and was wondering, if using a 3.5 briggs and stratton push mower is there a possible way to get lift and thrust? posibly tilting it maybe? |

Two options, Use a mule drive system like Sevtec uses, or you can bolt the required "proper" propeller to the Drive shaft as if using it strictly for thrust. You would want to split approximately 1/3 of the thrust air to the lift perimeter, as most of the commercial built craft are designed on today. Using a propeller, or as a ducted fan will be something you would want to research also for the best performance, in your Hp to weight ratio. _________________ CEO, Hovercraft Alaska |

I would think you would be building a remote control toy with that much power. you need at least 24 hp to be serious and safe. how big are you building? _________________ There are only two real sports, boxing and auto racing. The rest are all just games.
